The Rapid Edge system is a state-of-the-art, water cooled sharpening system.  It is attractive and quiet, so as not to be a distraction in the salon environment.  The patented arm/jig is the best system available to reproduce a factory convexed edge on your high end Japanese style shears, and a true flat bevel on your German style shears.  Angle accuracy of +/- 1° is easily attainable.  This same system is found in the finishing rooms at Arius-Eickert and Oster factories in the US, as well as some overseas facilities.
